Samaritan Medical Center Library's mission is to serve the health information needs of Northern New York. Whether you are doctor needing information on a new procedure or a consumer with questions about a medical condition, our library staff can help!
The public is welcome to use the library. Staff will provide consumer health information to our local residents at no charge.
Professional and commercial patrons not affiliated with Samaritan or the Hospital Library Program will be charged nominal fees to offset the cost of providing the service.
The library also serves hospitals and other health care institutions in the North Country through the Hospital Library Program. The program is funded by state monies administered by the North Country Reference and Research Resources Council and by fees charged to program participants. Employees of any Hospital Library Program participating institution may request our services.
