TABLE OF CONTENTS SERVICE (TACOS) REQUEST FORM AND JOURNALS LIST

Below is a list of journals whose table of contents pages (TACOS) are available to all staff members at participating Hospital Library Program institutions.  Please follow these directions:

1.  Determine which journals you would like to receive TACOS for, then click on the SEND A REQUEST TO A LIBRARIAN icon below.  Fill out the top of the Information Request Form with name, institution, phone number and email if available.  At the bottom of the page in the section titled "Requests for more articles," indicate that this is a TACOS request and list the journals you would like included.  Please also indicate whether you would like to receive the TACOS in paper or electronic format.

2.  Electronic Table of Contents Service (eTACOS) are sent either directly from the publisher to your email or by the Library in the form of an email with a PDF file attached.  The Library will furnish the requestor with a set of instructions on how to request articles from eTACOS.  Recipients should monitor their junk email folder to make sure eTACOS emails from publishers or the Library are not ending up there.  Articles chosen will be sent via email as a PDF file.

3.  For paper delivery, Library staff will copy the table of contents pages for the journals you selected and send them to you via interdepartmental mail or  the circuit librarian.  Indicate which articles you would like to receive and return the paper TACOS to the Library.  Articles chosen will be copied and delivered back to you as soon as possible.
